Every NEW, Original and Genuine Cell Phone must have a USER's manual. What may not be readily available is a SERVICE or REPAIR manual in the event a problem develops.

There is a whole lot of good that can be done if only cell phone repairers know where to get cell phones service manuals. Many people out there have had to replace their handsets on the premise that it is bad and can not be repaired due to an internal component fault.
At a time, my Motorola e1000 cell phone (configured on 3 network) became faulty.
Actually, I got it faulty.
...While trying to clean it inside out, I ventured to open the external casing. In the process the power (ON/OFF) button came off from the panel (PCB Board) completely.
I tried fixing it back by soldering (as i have experience in the field of electrical & electronic engineering at graduate level). Every attempt or effort made yielded NOTHING (no result at all).
I had earlier downloaded software, games and applications from the internet into my cell phone (Motorola e1000)... as such, I became the envy and toast of my friends and colleagues.
I even helped some of them configure the browsers on their mobile handsets to different networks of choice in Nigeria. Thanks to a site I discovered in my desperate quest for a solution to my faulty cell phone.
After several attempts and much work searching online, I was able to download the service manual and eventually fix my cell phone properly.
Now my Motorola e1000 cell phone is fully restored and back in operation and I LOVE IT.
A word of advice at this point is that before you opt to replacing that cell phone, why not ask if getting a cell phone service manual will prove useful at your repairer's or service center.
